30 Rock, New York, New York
I take any excuse I can get to visit New York, and after probably 20 times, the tourist bug hasn’t worn off much. I built in a few extra days after a work trip to spend time around the city, and today was a beautiful day, so I took my camera to the top of Rockefeller Center to see what was in view.
It was awesome to see so many places that sparked little memories, from the last-minute boat cruise around the Statue of Liberty (visible in the harbor to the upper right of the image), the first time I walked up to the Empire State Building during my first trip here 12 years ago, or the time we met a friend for some drinks in the plaza below.
I wound up spending a couple of hours in the cool breeze.
