I've been taking pictures since I was a kid, and shooting professionally since 2015.

My love of photography has always been a dialog with the world around me. I have always felt driven to see and learn as much as I can in life, and being able to create a visual record of my journey is an important part of these discoveries. For the right photo, I've flown across the globe, driven thousands of miles, and stayed up until the sun rose. Sometimes my art starts with three hours on Wikipedia. But since I was very young, the process of shooting photos has always felt like exploration.

I have experiene in production and event photography, and for a few years I shot professional dodgeball (one of the coolest experiences of my career). Left to my own devices, I'm drawn to subjects at opposite ends of the axis of human progress. I find great peace in the natural world and under the starry night sky, and I'm endlessly fascinated by the techology and artistry behind architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, and basically any form of transportation. But above all else, I am fascinated by just about anything with a good story or long history behind it.

While I have always been fascinated by the technical aspects of cameras, lenses, and gear -- I love gadgets and I'm obsessive about getting my photos right, if not perfect -- I'm happiest when I can push aside the details and produce work that I'm simply excited to show to other people.

If you're interested in working together or ordering prints of anything on this site, or if you just have a creative idea you can't shake, drop me a line at egaydos@pm.me. I'm always up for adventure.
