Badlands National Park, South Dakota, USA

Looking down a black highway with bold yellow and white striped lines, running into the distance where it seems to meet a large, sharp, rock formation that looks like mountains on the horizon. The sky is light blue with a mass of fluffy white and light grey clouds.

I went to the Badlands because I needed to go somewhere -- no plan, no goals, I just wanted to be out in the open space. So I just drove there on a Friday after work. On Saturday afternoon I realized a storm front was coming through, which you can see the very first signs of here as it blew from right to left across the sky. I stood in the middle of the road here for maybe 15 minutes with no one passing.
