I really enjoyed the hike to Delicate Arch, over trails and dry creeks, past petroglyphs, and eventually climbing and skirting a large rock formation before turning a corner and meeting a legend. I had to go a little quickly to avoid being out after sunset (I wandered off without a headlamp), but it meant I got to share a beautiful sunset on a cool, breezy evening with a few dozen likeminded strangers and an icon of the National Park Service.
