A massive Roman aqueduct bathed in golden evening light, showing its massive stone blocks that form two stacked sets of tall arches comprising its height. People can be seen walking around its base, and climing wide stairs that run parallel to it, made to look tiny by comparison.

We got to explore Segovia for just one afternoon with great friends, a short ride on the Ave from Chamartín Station in Madrid. After dinner we had to hustle back to the train, but we stopped quickly to soak in the scene and snap a few photos.
