Right after I took this picture, I walked a few hundred feet back to my hotel and left my camera on the lobby convenience store checkout counter for about 30 minutes. I only remembered I'd left it when I did the ol' "wallet, keys, camera" trick just before driving off in my car back to Chicago. I write this a month later and my heart is still catching up.
